The company business name is Teva Czech Industries s.r.o. The company belongs to the group called Teva, the multinational pharmaceutical company based in Israel. Galena is the original name of the plant in Opava, and the Teva group respects local traditions and carries them on, and we also still refer to this original name.

Opava is a picturesque historic town and the social and cultural center of Czech Silesia. It is situated on the river of the same name in a fertile valley surrounded by the Nízký Jeseník mountain range to the southwest and the Opava Lowland to the east. Definitely not! A train connection Opava-Východ – Ostrava-Svinov has a regular connection with trains going every hour (the travel takes about 35 minutes). From the station Ostrava-Svinov, one of the most important Central European railway crossings, there are direct lines to Prague (3 hours), Brno (2 hours and 18 minutes), Vienna (3 hours), Katowice (2 hours) and Bratislava (3 hours).
