How can I apply for a job?
In the Vacancies section, all current positions to be filled are listed. If any of them draws your attention, please click the link provided. In case that you could not find anything of interest, you may still load your CV in our electronic database of applicants - it is possible that a position corresponding to your knowledge/skillset and work experience will be opening in the near future.

Can I send my CV even without reference to any offered position?
Certainly you can, your CV will be filed in our database of applicants and when a suitable position is vacant we will contact you immediately. Your CV will be stored in the database for six months.
What is the selection procedure?
The selection procedure lasts at least 3 or 4 weeks according to the complexity and urgency of the job. The first round of interviews is with an HR officer and following rounds are with the direct superior of the position being considered as well the possibility of an interview with the director of the respective division.
How is the interview outcome communicated?
Usually by phone or e-mail.
Is English language knowledge required?
Definitely! As our company is a member of a multinational group, English is the most frequent means of communication with business partners and colleagues. You will use your language skills both in verbal and written communication.
Shall my personal data be treated as confidential?
All your documents are considered strictly confidential. They will be available only to an HR officer and respective managers of the considered position.
What’s your name? Galena, IVAX, Teva…?
The company business name is Teva Czech Industries s.r.o. The company belongs to the group called Teva, the multinational pharmaceutical company based in Israel. Galena is the original name of the plant in Opava, and the Teva group respects local traditions and carries them on, and we also still refer to this original name.

Opava City
Opava is a picturesque historic town and the social and cultural center of Czech Silesia. It is situated on the river of the same name in a fertile valley surrounded by the Nízký Jeseník mountain range to the southwest and the Opava Lowland to the east. Will I be isolated from the rest of the world here?
Definitely not! A train connection Opava-Východ – Ostrava-Svinov has a regular connection with trains going every hour (the travel takes about 35 minutes). From the station Ostrava-Svinov, one of the most important Central European railway crossings, there are direct lines to Prague (3 hours), Brno (2 hours and 18 minutes), Vienna (3 hours), Katowice (2 hours) and Bratislava (3 hours).
